While curative treatments are crucial, ensuring minimum support in healthcare and meeting subsistence expenses for the victims and family members is crucial throughout their traumatic journey. ... This is where home care, in collaboration with secondary and tertiary palliative care hospitals and NGOs, plays a key role in extending support to the already suffering family members who might not have the financial means, nor are adequately insured and often face financial distress.
